Terms of Use (EULA) for GeoAlarm

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using GeoAlarm ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

GeoAlarm is a location-based alarm application that uses geofencing technology to notify users when they enter designated geographic areas. The App offers both free and premium subscription features.

Subscription Terms

Free Version

• Limited to 1 active location alarm
• Access to basic features
• No time limit

Premium Subscription

• Price: Shown in the App Store before purchase, in your local currency
• Billing Period: Monthly
• Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Payment: Charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Manage Subscription: You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
• Cancellation: When you cancel, subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
• No Refunds: No refunds for partial periods

Premium Features Include:

• Up to 20 active location alarms (iOS system limit for monitored regions)
• Save favorite locations for quick alarm setup
• Live Activity showing the distance to your next alarm

Location Services

Required Permissions

• "When In Use" Permission: For basic app functionality
• "Always Allow" Permission: Required for background geofencing to work reliably

Data Usage

• Location data is processed entirely on your device
• We do not transmit, store, or share your location data with any third parties

Battery Usage

• GeoAlarm uses Apple's native geofencing technology designed to minimize battery impact
• Continuous GPS tracking is not used
• Location is monitored only when crossing alarm boundaries

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating an account or making purchases
• Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Not interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code from the App

You acknowledge that:

• Location-based alarms depend on GPS accuracy and device capabilities
• Alarm reliability may vary based on signal strength, device settings, and environmental factors
• The App should not be used for critical safety or emergency purposes
• You are responsible for ensuring your device has proper location permissions enabled

Limitations of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

GeoAlarm and its developer:

• Do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• Are not responsible for missed alarms due to GPS inaccuracy, device settings, or other factors
• Are not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the App
• Are not responsible for any consequences of missed transportation, appointments, or other events

IMPORTANT: Do not rely solely on GeoAlarm for critical timing. Always have backup alarm methods for important events.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of GeoAlarm are owned by the developer and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the App's name, logo, or branding without permission

Third-Party Services

GeoAlarm integrates with Apple services:

• CoreLocation: For location services and geofencing
• MapKit: For map display and location search
• StoreKit: For in-app purchases
• UserNotifications: For alarm alerts

These services are subject to Apple's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Changes to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the App or features at any time
• Update subscription pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers
• Change these Terms of Use (notice will be provided in the App)

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately if you:

• Violate these Terms of Use
• Use the App for illegal purposes
• Attempt to harm or exploit the App's functionality

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ceases immediately
• Active subscriptions will continue until the end of the billing period
• No refunds will be provided for unused subscription time

Refund Policy

Refunds for subscriptions are handled by Apple according to their refund policy:

• Contact Apple Support for refund requests
• Refund requests must be made within 90 days of purchase
• Refunds are at Apple's discretion

We do not have access to Apple's transaction system and cannot process refunds directly.

Geographic Restrictions

GeoAlarm is available worldwide, but certain features may be limited based on:

• Local regulations
• Apple App Store availability
• GPS and mapping service availability in your region

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

• We do not collect or transmit personal information
• No analytics or tracking

Children's Privacy

GeoAlarm is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. All data is stored locally on the user's device.

Disclaimer

Critical Safety Notice:

• GeoAlarm is NOT a safety or emergency service
• Do not rely on the App for life-threatening situations
• Always have backup methods for critical alarms
• GPS accuracy varies based on conditions
• The App may not work in areas with poor signal

Transportation Disclaimer:

• While designed to help travelers, GeoAlarm should not be your only method of ensuring you reach your destination
• Always remain aware of your surroundings
• Driver safety is your responsibility

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the App shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation

2. Mediation (if negotiation fails)

3. Arbitration or courts in Turkey (as a last resort)

Severability
